General information only
The information on this website is general in nature. It does not take account of your contract, property, deadlines, financial position or other circumstances and is not advice for a particular transaction. Contact Richard for guidance about your matter.
No engagement created by the website
Viewing this website, using or downloading a checklist, completing the enquiry questions or sending an enquiry does not create a conveyancer–client relationship. The Conveyancing Team acts only after confirming in writing that we accept the engagement and setting out the agreed scope and fees.
Sending an enquiry does not mean that we are protecting a deadline or acting in relation to an auction, offer, contract condition or settlement. Urgent deadlines should be raised directly by telephone and must be expressly confirmed by us.
Fees and scope
Your written quote and engagement documents are the final record of the work included, the professional fee and any applicable third-party, statutory or additional costs.
Calculators, grants and schemes
Government calculators and linked information can provide useful estimates or general guidance, but they do not determine your actual duty, registration fees, grant entitlement, scheme eligibility or other liability. Rules, rates and eligibility requirements can change. Confirm the position for your transaction using current official information and professional advice where appropriate.
Checklists and property information
The downloadable and interactive checklists are practical prompts only. They are not exhaustive and do not replace contract review, property searches, council enquiries, surveys, valuations, building or pest inspections, tax advice or other specialist advice. A final inspection is not a building or pest inspection.
Interactive checklist progress is stored locally in the browser being used. Local storage is provided as a convenience and is not a permanent record or deadline-management service. Keep a downloaded or printed copy of anything you need to retain.
Title insurance
Any title insurance policy is a separate contract between the buyer and the insurer. Policy terms, limits, conditions and exclusions apply. The Conveyancing Team does not issue title insurance, determine whether a policy is suitable or decide whether a risk or claim is covered.
External websites
Links to government agencies, insurers and other external websites are provided for convenience. The Conveyancing Team does not control external content and cannot guarantee that a linked page will remain available or unchanged.
